Friday - too much time away from home and PrayFit

I think I'm avoiding home.  Not sure why.  An attack for sure.  I just haven't really realized til I sat down now, at the coffee shop, not at home.

I downloaded the kindle app for pc last week, that might have something to do with my renewed addiction to my little laptop.  In all fairness, it's been hot. HOT.  Sweat drippingly hot.  Our a/c went out last fall and while it was below 75 degrees I shouted I love having the windows open.  Now it's sweaty hot.  There's a window ac in the bedroom for my hubby when he sleeps during the day and I moved our fan to my sewing room window.

This is my fifth day on Prayfit.  So far really really good.  Almost great if it hadn't been for the 1000 calories in brownies I at in 12 hours. Trav had the other half.  I've done my exercises on the four exercise days and Wednesday was a rest day.  I found myself actually excited to get started on the exercises.

I start with my regular journaling and prayers, Bible reading, and then my PrayFit devotional, then I get to the exercises.

The first week is two easy exercises 4 out of 7 days.
They are the Incline Pushup and the basic crunch.  The trick is to do it to failure.  That means, when I did the incline pushup I used my big desk.  The first time I could do 12 and no more.  That was all my body could do.  On Tuesday my goal was to do one more, and today I did 18.  Crunches.  The first day I did 30, on Tuesday my goal was 31 and I did 50. On Thursday I did 80 and today I did 100.

I have had no cravings, no fast food, no regular or diet soda, no sweet tea from McD's.

I haven't measured myself yet, I'll wait until next week as I'm retaining water right now.  I'm starting at 238 pounds.  I know I won't see much difference this week, but after next week I should.

Hi,
My name is Sophie and I am currently writing my Masters dissertation about ‘work blogging’. I have found your blog on workblogging.blogspot.com and want to ask you if you would be willing to participate in my study. It would only take two minutes to fill in my questionnaire under the following link:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/SJFTYFT
No personal details about you or the company you work for are asked for and all the information and data you give will be treated confidentially and will only be used for the purpose of this study.
I would really appreciate your help 
Thank you in advance
Sophie
