Today was my interview at Whitfield EMS. I was hired there in 2007. I sadly walked away in 2008 to work full time for an EMS closer to home with a better schedule and to go to medic school full time. I've wanted nothing more that to work there again for all of those three years.
The interview went very well. Better than when I interviewed last May. I will know an answer on Thursday, Feb. 27th.
After the interview I went to Hobby Lobby. I bought a 20x30 inch foam board for $1.99 and two things of folkart paint in calypso blue. I'm going to paint the board and then cover with squares of paper like the smaller one in my last post.
I bought a skein of sock weight yarn by Walk Away sock yarn in color 02-Footsy. It was $9.99, but used my 40% off coupon on it. I also bought a 4" wooden embroidery hoop for a dollar. Will make making my mom's birthday gift so much faster and easier.
I haven't been sewing lately. Been knitting endless stitches on my shawl. I'm getting sick on cream, blue, brown and I still have another 250+yards to go.
With the sock yarn I bought I'm going to make a potato chip scarf. Just a thin flimsy scarf. I started to make one out of worsted weight yarn and it was just too big and chunky for me. I couldn't imagine wearing it. This yarn is so pretty and will be perfect.
