Cheating Death has tagged me with a Bookworm Award. This is my first time being tagged by another blogger. I've been mentioned in a few, so this is an honor.
Rules are as follows. Pass it on to five other bloggers, and tell them to open the nearest book to page 56. Write out the fifth sentence on that page, and also the next two to five sentences. The CLOSEST BOOK, NOT YOUR FAVORITE, OR MOST INTELLECTUAL!
If I were at home sitting on the bed, my closest book would be "The Spell of the Sorcerer's Skull" by John Bellairs. One of my favorites from my childhood. If I were sitting at the desktop my choice would have been the the guide book to some video game.
As it is, today I'm at the coffee shop. I should be studying, but it's hard to resist this.
So sitting beside me is my Basic Arrythmia book. Exciting stuff that book.
Page 56, 5th line reads, "Supraventricular rhythms include all those that originate above the ventricles; in fact, the only rhythms not included in the supraventricular category are those that originate in the ventricles."
If you were sitting across from me you would see ?? floating in my eyeballs.
Now I must pass this on to five other bloggers.
1. Other People's Emergencies - He's out of Boston, last seen in Germany and taking a break from his blog. Wonderful read.
2. DIY Diva - This woman inspires me to get out there and use powertools and be creative.
3. My Live in a Firehouse - Medic/FF on the east coast who knows what it's like to be the only female in a firehouse. She inspires me to finish my medic.
4. Trauma Queen - Kal's in Scotland. He is funny, and writes so well, we are transported to the scene with him, even if that scene is looking at his dying fish he put in his freezer.
5. William the Coroner - A coroner, professor, and fellow sappy cat blogger.

Sorry, DZFF is a meme-free zone, but I'll do it here.
For some patients a surrogate decision maker is required. It may be unclear whether some patients are above or below the threshold for decisional capacity.
